The FLY Story Slam is a storytelling event in Mill Valley hosted by Gary Rudman which is similar to the MOTH where people tell personal stories based on a theme live in front of an audience without notes.

The events take place once a month at the B-Lounge in Mill Valley (the venue at the back of the old carpet store in Tam Junction formally called the Boomerang Lounge) at 256 Shoreline Hwy, Mill Valley, CA 94941

We are now in our second year with themes which have included: ‘Miracles,’ ‘Out of Bounds,’ ‘Lost,’ ‘Busted’, ‘Disguised, ‘Nick of Time’ ‘Leap of Faith,’ our Valentine’s special show ‘Almost’, ‘Unexpected,’ ‘Choices,’ ‘Bending the Rules,’ ‘Yikes,’ ‘Family Matters’ ‘Shared Experiences,’ ‘Misunderstood,’ ‘Appetites,’ ‘Brave,’ ‘Secrets,’ ‘Connections and a few Story Salads (mixed themes)!
